 Aftershock-Server: Missing Players in Scorelist

Hello all,
I have spoken already with lighter about this problem and now I public it in hope to get help. =)

Server-setup:

  • The server is running and must run on Quake3, here it is: http://dpmaster.deathmask.net/?game=openarena&server=46.228.195.15:27960&showplayers=1
  • in the folder aftershock I put my server.cfg and when I run the server, it creates automatically the file q3config_server.cfg


That is the server.cfg (it works on other server, so should be ok):

Problem: The server does not show at all the nicknames in the scorelist.
Mostly you see only the spectators, but it can happen that the first time I start the server and join in alone that I can see me in the team. When I press again [TAB], then I see nothing. Seems very strange...
I got 2 different messages from console:




Things that I have already tried:

  • running the AS-server with a clean cfg. => Same problem
  • check out the .pk3-files of AS. Done and also placed the same pk3 as you use in CA+ server => Same problem
  • running the server with same cfg in baseoa. Result=> All normal, scorelist works!


It might be a problem with Quake3 compatibility, Idk... maybe some q3-command in q3config_server.cfg ?
Idk... do you have some tips for me?

Update: It seems to be a problem with Aftershock and Idk where it could be... .pk3's seems ok, server-config, too... what can it be? No idea?

p.s. the problem appears only in AS, not in other MODs

  I suggest you to create different folders to keep server settings. For example /home/s369916/servers/q3 and /home/s369916/servers/as, and try the following command line:

* to start aftershock
