hey all , I start this topic because I am off to play the same maps for CA ! I am trying some news one from Q3 , maybe we can add some to our server l!ght ? and maybe delete others ? xD

true, always the same maps, but allow a consideration, you can change the game mode (type tdm, ffa or maybe sometimes in ctf)? you always play to ca, except some (type i, light, wolf, etc).

I also like Campgrounds but too much is too much Dry
CA has become the favorite game type of everyone it seems . Mine too Very happy

In CA 4vs4 CPMA there are mostly DM6 only servers. So I'd be up for everything if I can playin some time. D:

Map diversity is determined by game type. So game type creates/deliveres new maps not the opposite.
Let's not forget that aftershock doesn't support only CA game type.

Like mentioned in the other thread, if we do add the OSP map pack, not only do we get TDM and duel maps, but also a couple of ones that are very suitable for CA. Namely ospdm1 (the edge), ospca1 (dunno how good that one is) and a couple of other DM ones that might be suitable for smaller amounts of people.

Other than that, I'd have to agree with Ghost here, CA doesn't seem like the best environment for map diversity. The lack of objectives means maps have to have big empty rooms, otherwise camping is too strong.

..impact wanna try like 10 new maps? well come on TDM/DM server!

maybe you think that TDM/DM is too hard for you..maybe you have right...but like us, you'll find hard games only in the first matches..then, after some experience, you can have some great games there! like this one -> http://www.aftershock-fps.com/match_result.php?game_id=26992 ..Suspense from first to last minute!! btw thx to piggie we'll upload some new maps for TDM, DM, DUEL and CA gametype! Smilie
